Barstow Acres Children’s Center is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. As a non-profit organization, we provide services to at-risk families on a sliding scale. We request donations in order to fulfill our mission. Your contributions will help support our “Adopt a Camper Campaign” where children are matched to donations to allow attendance at our Therapeutic Summer Day Camp. Additionally, it would allow us to provide sliding scale fees for our services and assistance for our other programs.

Funds are solicited from the community in the amount of $225.00 to enable a child to attend summer camp for at least one week. Donation letters are available to distribute to friends and family members. Fundraisers are held during the year as well. Every summer we award numerous scholarships to deserving children, thanks to the United Way of Calvert County, Calvert County Arts Council, the Keossean Foundation and many other private donors.
